Finnian is a graduate of the Dublin Institute of Technology (2001) and holds a PhD from Maynooth University, Ireland (2011). Specialising in business intelligence through spatial science, he has spent over a decade in logistics, preceded by time in the mining industry. With a passion for cartography, he has volunteered with several NGO’s supporting rural development projects in Africa and healthcare initiatives for vulnerable communities in Ireland. To date he has published two books on the use of spatial data for urban management and is a regular contributor to peer-review academic journals. Joining Geodis in 2015 , Finnian is currently the Head of Research and Development with the Cross Border e-Commerce team.
